Hi! My name is Sam and I'm excited that you are here!
This is where I talk about myself, I'll keep it quick.
I've been in the fitness and coaching world for over a decade, using fitness to improve myself and others lives.
So why is health and fitness so important to me?
It made me stronger & more confident. It made my interactions with friends and family better and more enjoyable. It increased the quality of the relationship with myself and help to overcome my anxiety.
Basically, it changed my life.
And that's what I want to pass on.
For the last ten years, I’ve studied nutrition and training for strength, fat loss and body re-composition. I have trained hundreds of clients in the gym and online.
I've helped one man lose 101 pounds (45kg) of body fat. I've worked with countless women to become stronger and change their body shape. I've help teachers, doctors and busy business owners to lose fat, gain strength and gain their confidence.
I’m passionate about helping people through fitness. It can be confusing but I'm here to make things simple to understand and easy to take action on.
I’m damn good at it too.
Before meeting Sam I was probably feeling the worst, health wise, than I ever had I’m my life! I’d never been so unfit! I’d always been a sporty girl at school and college but adulting and work really got the best of me!
Sam’s been the best coach I could ask for, he’s not just a personal trainer to me, he’s my mentor.
He’s pushed me to be better and encourages me in every session to do better! I can now do pull ups (with a band, it still counts) and 10 push ups, I could never do them before! I love the sustainability of the training and how I can take everything that I learn away from the sessions and incorporate them into my own training.
Sam really believes in me and pushes me when he knows that I can do better and is also amazing and gets me up and going when I’m having a crappy day!
My progression has not only been with the physical but also with the mental over all I feel a 10/10 in life at the moment!
Sam has done a fantastic job keeping me motivated and accountable. I have achieved my goal to lose weight and strengthen my body to avoid injury and improve my general health. I have no worries about recommending him to friends and family.
I starting Personal Training on 24th May 2018 with Sam. Now I won’t lie being overweight plus self conscious and trying to workout is not a great combination. But once I met Sam this changed completely. Not once have I felt uncomfortable or embarrassed when working out with him, mainly due to his somewhat unconventional yet amazing teaching techniques that put me at ease and made me feel completely supported. Making training fun and not too serious helped keep me motivated and wanting to continue succeeding. It's thanks to this guy that I have managed to completely turn my life around and create a better self, and I will be eternally grateful.
I have been training with Sam for nearly 2 years now, and believe he is an experienced, friendly and committed trainer. He will start by giving you good nutritional advice and truly understand what your needs are. I have always been a keen runner but I know I would have never achieved my goals without Sam. I’m 47 years old but I can say I have become defined and developed a much better muscle definition which I can finally be proud of. Importantly, Sam always ensures that my technique is correct to avoid any injuries. Finally seeing some results which I thought weren’t possible at my age motivates me to enjoy the gym and I would only finish by saying one thing:” why didn’t I do it when I was younger?” But Sam will show you that it’s never too late!
Working with Sam on my fitness and nutrition has been great. He has been nothing but encouraging and supportive. Our sessions are always hard work but always with an element of fun which is so important to keep me motivated. When I think I can’t do something I’m never allowed to give in, its broken down to help me manage it, which always means that without realising it, I always achieve what I believe to be impossible. No shouting, no humiliation just pure encouragement and belief. My best result from working with Sam? Self belief! The faith Sam has in me that I can achieve has given me the self belief that I can and I am. Plus I’m amazed now at what I can lift, push and press!
Since training with Sam I have lost 30lbs, gained definition and eating more healthily and feel more energetic
Sam is a great coach and I can’t recommend him highly enough!
Sam really has helped me so much with my confidence in the gym and knowing when to slow down/push myself. The past 6 months have absolutely flown in and I have learnt so much both in the gym and with my diet - protein is life. It was amazing to see how far I have come since starting, especially with sumo deadlift!! Honestly cannot thank him enough for the knowledge he has past on to me and the awesome training plans.
